Meet Dr. John T. Gump
Dr. Gump was first introduced to chiropractic at an early age. He had always been an excellent student; however, in second grade, his parents noticed that his grades had started to slip, and he began to have trouble in the classroom.
A hearing test confirmed that I had lost hearing and was unable to hear the teacher; however, with chiropractic care, my hearing was completely restored.

From that point on, Dr. Gump was convinced of the healing power of chiropractic. He pursued his passion for chiropractic by earning his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
A Dedicated Practitioner
It’s no surprise to Dr. Gump that his patients’ concerns are successfully addressed with chiropractic care. In fact, he can recall so many successes that it’s difficult to choose just one as the highlight of his career.
Dr. Gump is passionate about chiropractic and is dedicated to caring for his patients. After more than 50 years of patient care, Dr. Gump still works long hours, all for the love of his patients and the healing power of chiropractic. The clinic is open six days a week, and Dr. Gump continues to see emergency cases beyond his regular office hours. His enthusiasm for his work is evident in all he does.
As patient needs change and as care evolves, Dr. Gump works to keep the practice at the cutting edge of patient care. He recognized a need for rehabilitation in conjunction with chiropractic, so he earned his board certification in rehabilitation in 1998. He has completed more than 300 hours in Applied Kinesiology, is accredited to perform physicals for commercial driver’s license (CDL) candidates, and has been certified as a digestive health professional by the Food Enzyme Institute.
Dr. Gump also exceeds his required continuing education requirements each year. He is eager to learn all he can to continually improve the care his patients receive.
