What to Expect
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.
The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

First visit:Our first goal is to determine if your condition might benefit by chiropractic treatment. This will be done by the following: the Doctor will take a complete case history and most often spinal x-rays will be performed of your area of complaint. He will then perform a comprehensive spinal examination. You will have to complete some forms for us, so this initial visit to our office usually takes approximately 1 to 1½ hours.
Second visit: The Doctor will have had a chance to review and analyze your x-rays that were taken on your initial visit, and will also have reviewed your examination findings. Assuming you are a candidate for chiropractic treatment, you will be given a Report of Findings to read. Afterward, the Doctor will review this report, explain your x-rays, and answer all questions. The specific treatment procedures will be rendered as well as any necessary physical therapy and/or exercises. This second visit normally will be 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. *Emergency visits will usually require more time.
